A swifter more accurate cast to cover a larger area of open sea in a stress free manner, which doesn’t exhaust the hunter, is one. When casting quality is at its best and the technical bait control is so exact and so easy the hunter cannot help but enjoy himself, is two. With these factors in mind we at Patriot Design have created the GRAND captured TUNA ZX and its beautifully tapered shaft. It is the strongest weapon you can get for hunting Blue-fin Tuna.
Taking our GRAND armor TUNA rod design we beefed it up to a level that cannot be reached by others. The GRAND captured TUNA ZX has a full Aramid fiber shaft and a wide flared bat section which acts as a flexible shock absorber. The torque power available to the hunter is just off the scale and the tenacity and combination of power and flexibility when a monster takes the bait is incomparable.
This is the rod we have all been waiting for! It is: Aramid fiber’s break power, Glass materials perseverance and tenacity, and high-tension graphite’s attack power. With these ingredients and P. D’s tapered design and resin control, we have created a superbly balanced, super strong, power shooter rod.
Hard and unyielding the GRAND captured TUNA ZX is a very aggressive and precise casting tool. This character changes as soon as you get a monster hooked up and the GRAND captured TUNA becomes a power rod with no equal.
