As a light jigging multi performance series with a maximum 200g jig it is very user friendly. In middle range area hunting no ‘target’ is safe.
This is really an unbelievable series in that its jigging control, lifting power and limits cannot be measured.
While the Grand Renaissance is almost ferocious in its power, the new GRAND ORIENTAL is a toned down, lighter, softer model.
With lovely balance and smooth movement from tip to middle the GRAND ORIENTAL represents the evolution of the ideal of light jigging.
Of course the FK-V range has a fine lineage and so has the same DNA as its predecessors.
With a hard graphite core wound with Aramid braided graphite fiber from tip to bat. The bat torque of the FK-V range shows off its pedigree.
This New technical jigging rod with it light performance shaft, excellent balance and action may appear a little thin but remember it is an FK-V and even its makers are uncertain exactly what its limits are.
