P.D. believes that there are three demands on a shaft when onshore fishing.
It must be a shaft of light nimble design with both resilience and flexibility from the Belly to the Tip for casting
and have assured power at the Bat for battling.
So, we need a rod that when casting we can confidently control the lure and due to the nimbleness of the tip,
accurately cast long distance with ease.
It must be a rod that is limber and light but deliver huge bat power and control even when under pressure.
To be light the tapered design must provide balance.
Design Balance of the blank is hugely important.
Too big and lots of resin will make it too heavy while too small and too little resin will be light but weak.
Designing a blank that is small and light and uses a minimal amount of resin yet has a very high point of maximum extension
is extremely important.
P.D.s Grand Cross shore series shafts have achieved an extraordinary balance between remarkably
